WHY IS THE BLOG SO DEAD?!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MEIYING!!!

Right. so, SECTION OUTING is set okay. 6th of AUG. we'll go late morning or afternoon k. then im gonna watch a concert at night. i'd be like dead by then. and we're gonna eat ice cream. and mochi ice cream. and rachel pok hui yi shall eat leaves. coz she really likes salad. i have a perfect idea for section outing. we can all come to my house and we'll make our salad. then we go out somewhere like grass area or smth and we can have a picnic! and of course we can bring our ice cream along as well. yes? im such a genius. ahhahaha.

i have a suggestion. go and change your fingerings. hahahha. yes yes i mean it. and, sometimes, a stuck trigger is good. at least it ensures that you wont be playing and not realising that ur trigger is only half pressed and u start producing weird noises -.- oh and realised. please go and retune all your horns. the right way. yay okay, i shall do some teaching again. people, start making some self discoveries please. meddle with your horns. haha

tired tired tired. yawn yawn yawn.

MEIYING sectionals please thanks. next week. we can use monday if you want. yay.

jus to break the deadness here

stale. hm... yup had band prac today and we finally played brazil.. ok i dun noe if they played it on fri cos i was sick and yeah, im not crazy over brazil.. its jus tt i havent played it since last year's concert. yups. and aft band prac mich chased the sec4s out so tt.. yah im not supposed to say much but the sec4s probably noe already so yeah.

and im the photocopying gurl.. hee so fun!

man this is so random.

im seriously running out of ideas wad to write. shall stop here.

oh, this friday is gonna be very impt and special to two ppl. *hint hint (but its kinda obvious dont you tink?)

heyys!

long time since i came here and leave a post. haha. feel super tired now.. aiyah shall just continue since i'm already here. yups.

went to watch presentation night today. it was super SUPER NICE! its like you're drowned in a super musical night. every performance was nice. though tj said they screw up but i still think it was nice la! i din know they screw up until like um yan told me. yups

i like the sax solo. the sound was so bright and nice and shiny. i shall strive to have a nice sound too! he'sso pro la! oh and i realise that the sax looks rather small for him. heehee. some clarinets also looked small on big guys playing them. looked like oboe but then when i looked at the bell, it was different. yup.

anyway, i had a pretty good seat at j 17. just that this guy, thinks that he looks nice with his hair on top of his head all gelled up. and since this guy is like taller than me, his head blocked part of my view. IN ADDITION to his hair, he blocked my whole view. i mean left view. so i could only see the conductor and those on the stage right. yups. iwanted very badly to pour water on his head to wash off the gel as well as to weigh his hair down so i can see more. see how short i am? so rach! you must grow taller!! being short is not good. hopefully, a few years down the road, it would be fashionable to be short. so that we don't have to be in such disadvantage. hahas. tt's lame and random.

kk.. i shall sleep now. its rather late and i will blog more often um soon. yup

HEY!!!!

haha.. guess what..

yesterday, i wrote one full entry. then cuz someone else wanted to use the com, i minimized it and went off for a while. but i didnt realise that i would actually fall asleep while waiting for my turn again. so yup, the com got switched off and everything disappeared! hahaa... but nvm, i shall blog now. heh.

okayy... there's nothing much. i feel like im repeating myself even though you guys havent read it yet. haha.. my life's boring. and tiring. haha.. ohoh.. meiying!!! help!!! i got my piano exam date! haha... im super dead la.. havent practiced for like how long already.. haha.

hmmm... we havent had a section outing for like the whole of this year? issit? yeahh... i think so. haha.. aye, no, got. haha... but let's have another one! heehee.. and this time we'll have salad! haha.. then we can go catch a movie and eat popcorn! haha.. and mochi! yay! haha... :) it's a good plan... haha

hello peeps..

didnt blog abt maddcap day one cos we came back super late aft the perf so i shall tell u now.

maddcap 3 - day 1

left school at 12 and came back at 4.40. stoned around for some time before changing into band u and put on make up.. then had uniform check.. and oh, the muss... arrggh its sticky. had dinner at 5 and set up instru in audi after dinner. ran thru the pieces a few times and rehearsed how to get on and off stage. left stage and waited backstage at 7pm.

concert started at 7.30pm and so we played our pieces and tried our best not to screw up (which we did many times). aft 30mis, we got off stage at back to the band room to begin our two-hour wait to the finale.

had a section walk to the track and took pics wif diana's camera. played basketball wif the trumpets in court shoes and our shirts smell lyk i dunno wad aft tt (they jus smells bad cos we sweat alot during the game) we lost =[ but nevermind.

finale: there's no space on stage for us so we lined up below the stage next to mrs goh's keyboard and we bowed on the count of 1,2,3 in spanish (i tink its spanish.. it should be spanish) did sc cheer at a super fast pace and yeah.. returned to the band room to keep our instru.

tts the end of day one. now for day two.

maddcap 3 - day 2

reached school at eleven and stoned around for some time before changing into band u at 12 smthng. uniform check again and set up instru in khoo audi aft tt. played abrams (mr yap conducting) and bits and pieces from our pieces.

2pm: same thing as day 1.. performed and then left the stage in a hurry. stoned in the band room and tried to take pics of our new da yi and zeng zu mu and mommy but they werent cooperative. heh.

finale: no diff from day 1.

perf ended at 4.30pm and we had dinner at 5pm again. aft dinner we had a short rehearsal wif ms ng cos mr yap wasnt conducting for our last perf. i was lyk "diana, help." when ms soh came on stage wif a blusher to blush us. heh. and i got blushed in the end. sheesh. and yeah, same thing as the 2pm show. aft our perf we played basketball again with the trumpets but our team consisted of a mix between horns, euphos and saxes. sweat lyk hell again. then before going for the finale we sang star (which turned out very wrong) and mambo (which sounded better than star).

the finale was slightly more special. the mcs thanks so many ppl and ms heng came on stage to say a few words.

and tts it. tt was the end of maddcap 3. the sec 4s last concert with scband. *sobs* at least they're still performing in august at sentosa. =]

enjoyed myself these two days, yes but i'm super tired now. need my sleep. gd nite.

MADDcap3 is tmr! in 1 day and 46 minutes. okay around there. are youu excitedddd?? esp amanda n claire coz its ur first perf! ok i do actly wonder if they evr come here. hmm.

so its time to put on your MADD (and FUN) cap and go MADD! ok sheesh. haha alright, just play your best and enjoy yourself yeah. we're gonna make an impact w abram's! okay okay shall keep it short before i fail chem tmr. be confident yeah, and just whack ur notes if cannot reach. lol.

hello ppl.. me here.

had our last rehearsal b4 maddcap today and we are reportedly better than the last time ;) yaye. quite tired today cos school ended at 3pm (we left at 2.10) and rehearsal was until six. O.o. i'm gonna try my luck and wash part of my band u tonite and dry them tmr and bring them to school on fri evening. oh, and me dun lyk make up.

i've photocopied my scores! and i pasted them somewhat lyk diana's but i only wasted 12 (actually less than that.. i used 11 for scores and 3/4 for joining the scores together) pieces of A4 paper.. so proud of myself x)

maddcap is in less than two days... cant wait.

its gonna be our time to *SHINE*.
