harlo ppl... very tired now... juz came back from camp... here's to update u wad happened during camp but i noe tat most of u noe... this is to break the deadness at this blog. day 1 ran some rounds (okie... its not juz some... some ppl actually ran something lyk 2.4km) before band prac... later stink up the band room. played and played then went for lunch at scotts wif the section (see, we haf section spirit!!!) including claire 1 and 2. came back at 2pm and played some more. watched a movie aft band prac abt this band... so funny day 2 ran some more rounds before band prac again (this time we ran more... make diana a lot happier cos we werent so... lyk unwilling to do our best... dunno wad word to describe tat). anywae, had a guest conductor aft lunch... was a sso french horn player... he was conducting the band wif one hand and giving us our fingering wif the other... so funny. diana said he is very pro (actually, i agree... hornies are pro!) had dinner (not very edible though) and then night walk and we spent lyk i dunno how long looking for rasins, biscuits, tape and a bag of scores (my group was sabotaged lah... someone threw the scores so far away from where it was supposed to be and our tape was used up even b4 we used it). had some kind of prep talk wif diana and we waxed the courtyard. spent my time b4 bed lying face up on the courtyard floor wif diana, meiying and yiyan... star gazing and shouting "go(ld) band"... haha. then we got chased to bed by diana. day 3 woke up at 6 smthng 7 and found out tat we were supposed to be at the courtyard at 8 not 7.30. ran a total of 7 (i tink) rounds and tried running for sports day relay... had breakfast (super hungry) and a bit of prac b4 exchange at acsi. the bands there (ok... some of them) are super pro lah... we was super nervous and cold. ms ng and ms soh said tat we were lyk scared rabbits lah... performed our pieces and then yeah, went back to school. oh and GRANDMA CAME!!! yay!!! haha... dun worry grandma, we will make sure tat ur great grand kids wont be as small as they are now when they graduate. haiz... got a lot of things to say but then i shall let others add in their own stuff... haha. band camp was super fun lah although we came back with painful thighs (from running too much), sore knees and arms (from pumping too much) and backache (from sleeping on the floor)... cant wait for next camp... probably in dec but then... nvm... happy resting ppl... as meiying said... you fu tong xiang, you nan tong dang, you ku tong shou. ~audrey fEEl honoured with HoRNieS | 3/18/2005 08:00:00 PM |
